Mark Bridge: Historical Music Reenactment
Popular musician, Mark Bridge, takes the audience on a lively, singalong journey through music history. Mark is known for stretching the boundaries of banjo and traditional music. His current project involves the study and performance of popular music dating as far back as the Renaissance and Elizabethan eras with particular emphasis on songs from the American Minstrel, Civil War, and antebellum periods through the Classic banjo period. The music is presented and played on a variety of banjos in several playing styles as well as other folk instruments.

If you are interested in learning about the many plants, natural habitats, native trees and the research that goes into creating hybrid plants that will thrive in Minnesota you need to sign up for this trip. An educational tram ride is included so you will get a tour of the many habitats spread around the landscape. After the tram ride, you will be on your own to explore the rest of the area including the Local Artists building. There are a few seats left in Madison and a waiting list has been started.
