The Wonderweavers Storytellers are coming to the Canby Elementary School, Thursday May 5th at 1:00 p.m., with Stories Alive! Books Alive!

Reading and stories go hand in hand. In this lively program your favorite stories and books come alive with our unique blend of storytelling. Using audience participation, puppets, props and magic, this program promotes literacy and reinforces the importance of reading for people of all ages.

Free Computer Classes

Free Computer Class: Wednesday, May 4th: 6:00-8:00 p.m.
A short history of computers, hardware and software, and operating computers with hands on practice. Space is limited.
Session 2 will be Wednesday, May 11th: 6:00-8:00 p.m. and will cover the internet . Session 3: Wednesday, May 18th 6:00-8:00 p.m. : with overall review and questions.

Bus Trip to “Grease” April 2, 2016

GreaseCanby Library is offering a free bus trip to the Paramount Theatre in St. Cloud to see the production of “Grease”. Get ready to hand-jive the night away with the show that will make you want to stand up and shout, “A-wop-bop-a-loo-bop A-wop-bam-boom!” Come to the library to get signed up. Seats are limited. The date for this trip is Saturday April 2. The show is recommended for ages 12+ due to adult content and language. This project is funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.
